Abstract
Objectives : This study was designed to identify the personality changes of stroke geriatric patient and experienced barriers in supports and relationships.

Methods : The subjects were 231 stroke patients. All the subjects were medically stable, had adequate comprehension of instructions for assessment and age over 65 years and the study was conducted from 06/2015 to 10/2015. All patients participated in semi-structured questions based on the ICF categories of supports and relational factors of the extended version of ICF core set for stroke.

Results : 59.7% of subjects show personality changes. Personality changed subjects experience more barriers in support and relationships from friend, acquaintances, peers, colleagues, neighbors and community members and health professionals than personality not changed stroke patients. When personality change was great many stroke patients experienced barriers in support and relationship with immediate family, extended family, friend, acquaintances, peers, colleagues, neighbors and community members and health professionals. Providing management and intervention
of personality changes can help elderly people with stroke achieve more promotional social support and relations.

Conclusion : Stroke patients with personality changes experienced disability in support and relationship with friends, acquaintances, peers, peers, neighbors, and community members. As personality changes changed, the support and relationships of immediate family members, extended family members, friends, acquaintances, peers, peers, neighbors, community members, and health professionals experienced disability. Providing management and intervention of personality changes in stroke patients can help elderly people with stroke achieve more promotional social support and relationships.
